Chemical compound management platform development and integration intern

Missions & activities:

Within our Computational Chemistry department, you will contribute to the development of the platform for our company's stock and catalogue management systems. After conducting a preliminary analysis of the existing platform and a bibliographical study, you will implement the best solutions identified. Your tasks will include:

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand the specific needs and challenges of catalogue management.
Redesigning and developing user-friendly interfaces for the databases to enhance accessibility and usability.
Designing and implementing data analysis and visualization tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making processes.
Developing algorithms, and scripts to automate data processing and analysis tasks.
Conducting quality control and validation of catalogue data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in cheminformatics and data management techniques.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Chemoinformatic, Computational Chemistry, Chemistry, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of cheminformatics principles, data mining, and database management concepts.
Good knowledge in chemistry.
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in cheminformatics, such as Python.
Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL or NoSQL).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities, fluency in English.
